Why just for women?

​The music industry and guitar culture have privileged boys and men.  It is my mission to expose more women to the guitar while building connections with each other and  exploring  what this amazing instrument has to offer and what you have to offer using the guitar as a tool of expression. ​

What you will learn

With a small group of women, we will be covering the basics of acoustic blues. We will learn a 12 bar blues pattern and a scale that you can use to do some simple soloing. Equipped with these skills alone, many joyful hours of jamming the blues can be at your fingertips. We will also learn a traditional blues song and depending on skill levels, some simple fingerstyle blues.  ​
